Kiewa Designs is a home-based small business located in the Alpine region of North Eastern Victoria is Australia. My home has a view across the Kiewa Valley of Mount Bogong - depicted graphically in my logo and in the background image on my site.
I make textiles arts and crafts for sale online and at local markets, including bags, cushions, scarves, hats, gloves, throws, rugs, book covers, tablet and laptop covers, and other homewares.
I like using remnants, second hand and plain cotton fabrics to create items in patchwork, appliqué, and embroidery. I also lino print and stencil fabrics. And I create crocheted and woven fabrics as well.
My work features repeat patterns, simple shapes, embroidered details, hand-printed graphics, and buttons. Each piece is one of a kind.
